World’s Largest Buc-ee’s Coming Soon to Texas, Opening Date Announced

The world's largest Buc-ee's is set to open soon. The doors to the new location in Luling, Texas, will fly open on Monday, June 10, 2024.

The store located off of Interstate 10 will open to the public that day at 6:00 am. Then at noon, there will be a ribbon cutting to commemorate the store's opening.

HOW MASSIVE IS THIS NEW BUC-EE'S?

The new store is a whopping 75,000 square feet. (It's actually replacing the current Buc-ee's in that town, which was built in 2003.)

The travel center will feature 120 gas pumps, Beaver Nuggets, Texas barbecue, fudge, and more clean restrooms than one could possibly stand.

The store is expected to employ a minimum of 200 people.

WHERE EXACTLY IS IT LOCATED?

The store is located at Interstate 10 and Texas 80 and is about 55 miles northeast of San Antonio.

WHICH BUC-EE'S STORE IS CURRENTLY THE LARGEST?

This new Buc-ee's will be the largest once it opens, but not by much. The current title holder is the store in Sevierville, Tennessee, which opened in 2023.

That store is 74,707 square feet large, just a few square feet less than the new location in Luling, Texas.

HOW MANY BUC-EE'S ARE THERE?

With the opening of the new Luling store, there will be 50 stores across Texas and the South.

Back in 2019, Buc-ee's began a multi-state expansion. Since then they've opened stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennesee, Missouri, and Colorado.
