Acadiana Autism Advocate Passes Away

Funeral arrangements are pending for autism advocate Vickie Nettles who passed away this morning.

Nettles was the administrative assistant for the Autism Society of Acadiana.

Their program aims to "improve the lives of all affected by autism".

She was an advocate for all of those on the autism spectrum, and their group worked to help individuals, families and communities have a better understanding of autism and to improve lives through education.
