Child Support Enforcement Campaign Nets Multiple Arrests
(St. Martinville, La.)-The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office along with
the 16TH JDC District Attorney’s Child Support Enforcement Division, conducted an early morning operation entitled “Pay or Stay” in an effort to pick up those individuals who had outstanding warrants for failure to pay child support. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office along with the assistance of the U.S. Marshall’s Office, covered three areas of St. Martin Parish this morning picking up several individuals. The following individuals were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center following this morning’s operation because they were unable to make the outstanding payments as per their warrants:
Cody Begnaud, 39, Breaux Bridge, Owes $8,446.98
John Zenon, 46, Breaux Bridge, Owes $47,950.46
Jamal Paul, 35, Breaux Bridge Owes $11,636.03, $8,520.45
Thommy Jacquet,, 47, St. Martinville, Owes $25,782.80
Willie Zenon, 49, Breaux Bridge Owes $4,428.21, $5,707.10, $725.33
James Sam 55, St. Martinville Owes $7,123.13
Herman Toliver, 40, Breaux Bridge Owes $1,402.22, $2223.06, $15,398.81, $143.64
Damien Thibodeaux, 35, Breaux Bridge Owes $31,225.96
Terry Williams, 29, Breaux Bridge Owes $17,022.00
The following three subjects were picked up during the round up, however, they were processed at the Courthouse and were released after they made payment on their non-support warrants.
