(St. Martinville, La.)-On Saturday, February 26, 2011 beginning at 7:00 a.m. in the morning, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and St. Martin Parish Government, along with ten trusty road crews will travel on La. 352 for approximately 25 miles from Lake Fausse Point Camp Ground to George Dupuis Bridge picking up trash and debris. This is a joint effort between the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and St. Martin Parish Government to keep St. Martin Parish free from litter and debris. If an individual is caught littering, they will be issued a fine. We are encouraging the residents of St. Martin Parish to continue to fight to keep our Parish free from litter and debris by disposing of trash in the proper way.
