Political Correctness – Is It Right Or Wrong?

The topic of political correctness comes up from time to time and it has come up again today.  In a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, Dr. Benjamin S. Carson spoke for 25 minutes about his views on things in the nation.  In that, he said that he thinks political correctness is a dangerous thing to this nation and that people need to boldly share their views publicly.

While some would say that political correctness is a good thing from the standpoint of making people more aware of what they say, there are others that say too much of it has been detrimental to this nation.
