A judge will allow prosecutors to use statements given by Jeffery Lee Guillory to Baton Rouge police in 2006 and 2009 in a murder trial set to begin Monday. The first statement was taken from the suspected serial killer more than three years before his arrest in the slayings of three Baton Rouge women. The second was given the day the accused murderer was arrested. Guillory's trial Monday is for the 2002 death of one of those women. Guillory was convicted and sentenced to 50 years in prison last year for beating and robbing Johnnie Rose Martinez of Lafayette in December 2007.
