SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The victim in a 10-year-old Shreveport murder case will soon be featured in a billboard campaign as police continue the effort to find her killer.

Police say Monica Harris died after somebody broke into her home on Aug. 30, 2003. Also killed was a man, Calvin Washington.

A Shreveport police news release says the Crimestoppers organization and Lamar Outdoor Advertising have pledged to support the investigation by featuring Harris on billboards around the city. Police said they hope the billboards will lead anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward.

Members of Harris' family were set to be on hand for a Friday unveiling of the billboards at the Portico Shopping Center in Shreveport.
