2019 Hurricane Names
NOAA has released the hurricane names for 2019, and let's hope we don't have to use all of them this year. Hurricane season is June 1- November 30, and we have two names that have been retired this year. Florence and Michael. The list is below.
The names are determined by the United Nations World Meteorological Organization, and are rotated every 6 years, using 6 different lists. So that means this years list will be used again in 2025.
