During a May 2nd ceremony four influential games were added to the World Video Game Hall of Fame at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY.

According to Gizmodo, this years group of inductees include the Microsoft classic Solitaire, everyone's go-to fighting game Mortal Kombat, Mario and friends finally made the WVGHF cut with Super Mario Kart and fantasy favorite Colossal Cave Adventure.

Unfortunately, eight video games did not make it into the 2019 Hall of Fame class. But, hey, maybe 2020 will be the year for Half-Life, Asteroids, Dance Dance Revolution, Call of Duty, Ms. Pac-Man, King’s Quest, Metroid, or Minecraft.
