7.3 Million Teen Births In Developing World
LONDON (AP) — A United Nations report says teen pregnancies in the developing world are declining, but more than 7 million girls under 18 are still giving birth each year.
The U.N. Population Fund says girls under 14 account for 2 million of those births.
Girls in developing countries face the gravest long-term social and health consequences from giving birth as teens.
