Abbeville Schools Closed; Boil Advisory On For The City

Due to some issues with the water system in Abbeville, several schools have made the decision to close today.

Abbeville High School, J.H. Williams Middle School, Eaton Park Elementary and Herod Elementary will be closed today.

Mt. Carmel and Vermilion Catholic Schools will also be closed today due to the water issues.

City officials want residents to know that they need to boil their water for one full minute before they consume or use it.
