Acadiana's Gleaux Run benefitting Miles Perret Cancer Services is in its 17th year and Sherry Hernandez was in the KPEL studio to tell us about it. It's set for "Thanksgiving Eve" in River Ranch. Time is running out, but registration is still open.

From Acadiana's Gleaux Run on Facebook:

Register today for the 17th annual Camellia Crossing GLEAUX Run! This family-friendly event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th at River Ranch Town Square. Camellia Crossing: Acadiana's Gleaux Run is a great way for families to come together on Thanksgiving Eve to give thanks and support Miles Perret Cancer Services. The night time 1-mile walk and 5K run fills Camellia Boulevard with gleauxing runners and walkers. All participants will receive a gleaux-in-the-dark Camellia Crossing t-shirt, extra gleaux accessories, and food and drink wristbands to the official Camellia Crossing after party. We encourage your creativity in getting your gleaux on! Proceeds raised will support Miles Perret Cancer Services (MPCS) and our mission to help local families fight, survive, and live with cancer. For more information on Camellia Crossing visit milesperret.org or call 337-984-1920. READY, SET, GLEAUX!
