Louisiana is a great place to do business. Area Development Magazine ranked Louisiana number six in the country for doing business. Louisiana was also ranked third in states leading economic recovery and 4th for states with the best business environment. The rankings are the result of a survey of site-selection consultants. Governor Jindal says the high-ranking is recognition of the state's efforts to cut taxes, reduce government spending and provide key workforce training solutions.
