Arizona Wildfire Grows In Size
KACHINA VILLAGE, Ariz. (AP) — Hundreds of firefighters are trying to protect communities on the edge of Flagstaff, Arizona from a wildfire that's already burned through more than 11 ½ square miles.
There are no reports of injuries or burned buildings, but the blaze did grow quickly around the scenic Oak Creek Canyon on Thursday.
The wildfire is about 3 miles away from residential areas, where people are under pre-evacuation warnings.
