Booker Wins Senate Special Election

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Democrat Cory Booker is the latest U.S. Senator from New Jersey but he won't have much campaign down time, since he'll be running for a full term next year.

Yesterday's special election was to fill the remainder of the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg's term.

Booker defeated conservative Steve Lonegan.
