Bossier Couple Arrested In 5-Year-Old’s Death

BENTON, La. (AP) — An Elm Grove man and his wife have been arrested on charges of negligent homicide in connection with the death of their 5-year-old daughter. Bossier Parish Undersheriff Doyle Dempsey says 32-year-old Wesley Dwayne Lowe and 34-year-old Catherine Murray Lowe were arrested Friday morning for negligent homicide, possession of Oxycodone and possession of Darvocet. The couple was taken into custody after the medical staff at W.K. Pierremont contacted the sheriff's office regarding the child, Anna Celeste Lowe, who died about two hours before her parents brought her to the emergency room.
