Carlee Alm-LaBar to Challenge Robideaux in Upcoming Election

Former Lafayette Consolidated Government Director Carlee Alm-LaBar to Challenge Mayor-President Joel Robideaux for the position in the upcoming election on October 12.

According to the Advocate, Alm-LaBar says she is "motivated by a desire to make all of Lafayette Parish a better place to live as demonstrated by her community volunteer work as well as her professional achievements."

Alm-LaBar made her announcement Friday afternoon and registered with no party, though she considers herself fiscally conservative.
