Celebration Of Life Planned For Matthew Carter

Happening this weekend, a celebration of life is being held for the Comeaux High School senior who died following an attempted armed robbery last month.

The celebration for Matthew Carter is being held at Pizza Artista located on St. Nazaire Road in Broussard on February 8, 2020.

It will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm.

Our news partners at KATC report that the celebration will include face painting, raffles, DJ with live music and a blood drive hosted by Our Lady of Lourdes.

The blood drive will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

All donations and proceeds received from the event will go towards the Carter family for funeral and medical expenses.
