Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant tops the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Top 50 Player Sales list.

Bryant becomes the first non-quarterback to lead the way in merchandise sales.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who was ranked first last year, falls to the second position this year, followed by quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks, and receiver Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants to round out the top five.rounded out the top five.

The list is based on total sales of officially licensed NFL player merchandise, tracking year-end results from March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is 31st on the list, with Beckham, and another former LSU receiver, Jarvis Landry of the Miami Dolphins, at #5 and #42, respectively.

Newly signed Saints running back Adrian Peterson, who played for the Minnesota Vikings last season, checks in at #46.

Quarterbacks led the way, with 17 on the list, followed by receivers, who were named 15 times.

Nine defensive players were ranked.
