50-year-old Jessica Huval was arrested after police say she ran drugs to an undercover agent.

Eunice Police Chief Varden Guillory says she handled several types of narcotics including methamphetamines, cocaine and prescription medications. Chief Guillory says after the orders were placed Huval would make the phone calls to supply sources then get the drugs from her suppliers and personally provide them to the undercover agent. Chief Guillory says the undercover agent would then pay Huval and she'd deliver the money to the supply source, completing the deal.

Chief Guillory says one of the transactions happened 450 feet from Eunice Elementary School and the other 420 feet from  St. Edmund's School campus (Drug Free Zones).

Chief Guillory says Huval has since bonded out on $36,000 bond. She has been charged with:

  • Distribution of Schedule 2 CDS (Vyvanse)
  • 2 counts of Violation of the Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 2 CDS (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
