Who's ready for a cool front?

I have been waiting for this. It looks like the first cool front for Fall 2019 will arrive the first week of October.

According to the long-range forecast on weather.com, the high temperatures will be in the mid-to-lower 80s during the day, with lows at night in the 60s.

Let me note here, I have seen other forecasts on social media call for even COOLER temps as this front sweeps through, but I am not going to reach for that---YET!

Now, could this forecast change in the days ahead? Sure. But let's all hope that it doesn't.

Temperatures have been above average in September and it's time for a few cool mornings and evenings.

Sure, this may not be "cool" to many, but this should or could be our first "break" in warm temperatures.

So, if you're into Pumpkin Spice stuff, get it ready. Cooler temps could soon be creeping into south Lousiana.

After all, "It's Fall Y'all."
