First Responders’ Mass At St. John’s Cathedral

It was already scheduled, and it will proceed. This evening there will be a "Blue Mass".

Tonight at St. John's Cathederal in Lafayette there will be a mass to honor all the men and women in our community who are first responders.

A Lafayette Police officer was shot in the line of duty last night while answering a call at a convenience store on Moss Street.

The mass to honor all first responders will begin at 5:30 this evening.

Bishop Deshotel will say the mass.

They plan to thank and pray for all law enforcement, fire fighters and first responders.
