Louisiana gas prices held steady overnight as the crisis in Egypt has led to significant increases in crude oil prices that now exceed well over 90-dollars a barrel.  It'll take a while for fuel prices to react to the rise in oil prices.  For now, the statewide average price of regular gasoline is holding at two-96 a gallon, down three-cents from a week ago.  However, on this date last year, regular in the state carried an average price tag of two-56 a gallon, 40-cents lower than today.
