Gov. Jindal Suspending Annual Pay Raises

Gov. Jindal is asking the state Civil Service Commission to suspend annual pay raises

for more than 50,000 rank-and-file government workers next year. The commission will hear todayfrom Jindal's top budget adviser about the request for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
