The governor's approval rating is 56-percent according to the survey of 600 voters. Pollster Verne Kennedy says Jindal is still in good shape to be re-elected. A viable challenger has not emerged with the gubernatorial primary still nine months away. Kennedy says if Jindal's support continues to erode a Tea Party candidate could complicate the governor's re-election efforts. Kennedy says his poll shows nearly half--49-percent--of voters said they will vote for Jindal no matter who runs against him.
