Today on 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' we spoke with Bob Sevin one of the Grand Isle Port Commissioners about proposed clean-up after Hurricane Isaac.  Sevin said flood conditions prevent travel to Grand Isle at this time.

According to Sevin,

"We have reports of four to five feet of water in many camps and other structures on the Island.  At this time we can't access damage but Grand Isle Port Commissioners will meet tonight in Lafayette to determine a course of action when we are allowed to return."

Sevin said in addition to the physical damage caused by Hurricane Isaac fishing rodeos have been cancelled or disrupted by weather events and the BP oil spill repeatedly during the past seven years.
