You monthly mortgage payments would be $952. In order to cover the rest of the bills and maintain a decent living, you need a monthly income of $3,173.33. They also found that Louisiana is one of the states in which you are least likely to live paycheck to paycheck. This is thanks in part to the lower housing costs.
