I-10 E Blocked at Multiple Points in Louisiana

(Lafayette, Louisiana) - Mulitiple incidents have been reported by the Department of Transportation and Development resulting in the blockage of eastbound traffic on I-10 in Lafayette and on the Basin.

I-10 at MM 126: If traveling to Baton Rouge and beyond, detours include north on I-49 to US 190 E.

In addition, according to DOTD, an accident has been reported on I-10 Eastbound near US-167 Southbound (MM 103). All lanes blocked.

Be careful on the roads as July 4th traffic is expected to be record-breaking this year.
