SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport police make an arrest in Aggravated Battery case involving a vehicle

On February 8, 2024, at approximately 11:00 P.M., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call in the 200 block of E. Slattery Blvd., concerning an assault incident. Following a thorough investigation, officers have apprehended 67-year-old Charles Meighen in connection with the offense.

Meighan faces one count of aggravated battery after allegedly utilizing a vehicle to intentionally strike the victim. The victim is expected to recover.
