(KTDY) - A homeowner is lucky to be alive after a car ended up in their living room.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office shared a couple of photos on social media of a vehicle in someone's house, and luckily, no one in the house was injured after the car came to a stop in the living room.

According to the Sheriff's Department, they were called out to a home invasion off of Fore Road, and when deputies arrived, the suspect fled.

A pursuit ensued, and the suspect ran a stop sign, crossed a highway, and then hit the house, where the vehicle came to a stop inside.

Authorities were able to capture the driver and suspect in the home invasion, and is facing various charges.

I can't imagine the noise this crash must have made, and hearing it while in your own house had to have been frightening for this homeowner. Check out the photos of this car in the house.

You can see below that extensive damage was done to the house in Livingston Parish.
