LSU Coach Lane Kiffin Sends Message to Fans In First Few Tweets
(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - There's a lot of excitement surrounding the LSU Football program since it was announced on Sunday that Lane Kiffin would become the next head coach of the Tigers.
LSU fans greeted the new coach at the airport on Sunday evening, and some followed him, showing up at LSU Football ops late Sunday evening.
Sensing the excitement, Kiffin, known for trolling others on social media, snapped a few photos in the first few hours at LSU and posted them on X. What was his message, and who were they directed towards? Well, we will let you decide on that.
In the first Tweet, Coach Kiiffin posted a photo of a Tiger, thus reminding football fans where he is now, and as you would imagine, some fans just to the east of Louisiana didn't take this message or photo well.
Then, in another post, Coach Kiiffin posted a photo of the many trophies inside LSU Football Ops, and appropriately, one of the photos was that of a National Championship. Some fans read into the image as his way of saying why he is now in Baton Rouge, but again, we will let you read into this message as you wish.
Here's Kiffin's second photo since arriving at LSU.
Lane Kiffin, who is projected to make just over $90 million at LSU, will be formally introduced as the Tigers' next head football coach Monday, and as you can see below, LSU is excited to have Kiffin in "The Boot."
Here's a look from inside "Death Valley" on Monday morning and late Sunday evening.
