The new Pizza Village location in Breaux Bridge is finally open!
One of the most legendary pizza joints in all of Acadiana is opening its doors in Breaux Bridge today as Pizza Village is ready for customers.
According to a Facebook post, the new location at 1809 Rees Street will be open as of 11:00 am on Monday, October 21, 2024.
As you can see in the post above, the take-out / drive-thru / call-in will be limited at first while they ramp up operations.
Of course, Pizza Village is a legacy-type business in Acadiana, having first opened in 1971. They specialize in a cracker pizza crust, thin and very crispy, along with award-winning salads.
The new Breaux Bridge locations make it three total for the brand, joining the Lafayette restaurants on Moss Street and Kaliste Saloom Road.

The building may not stay vacant long though, as a Facebook post made a few days ago by Barry Reeves states that he and his wife are "going back into the restaurant business."
Barry and Rhonda previously owned Papa's Crawfish House & Grill on South Union Street in Opelousas.
