Are you looking to cool off this summer, swim, dance, and not be bothered with those pesky kids? (Okay, we're being harsh on those sweet little angels. But, it's our turn, dang it!)

Well, if you are, perhaps a trip to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is the place you should be this summer.

Their "Sip + Dip" series is happening over several Friday evenings throughout the rest of the summer. This is an adults-only event where you enjoy the "Cool Zoo" splash pad and Gator Run lazy river while enjoying some adult beverages and good music.

Of course, there's a good chance you'll see some zoo animals as well.

“We have multiple themed nights planned, so grab your krewe and come indulge in this grown-up oasis at Cool Zoo,” Audubon Zoo Senior Vice President Daine Appleberry said.

Every other Friday night through August from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm the ticketed event is open to those 21 and over.

General Admission Tickets: $30 per person, plus tax + fees. Food & beverages sold separately.
VIP Tickets: $50 per person, plus tax + fees. Includes 2 bites and 1 seasonal daiquiri. Limited availability!
Cabana Rentals: $50 per cabana, plus tax + fees.
