Jindal Redistricting Support

Because  Governor  Jindal  supports  a  new Congressional  map  that
maintains two districts in northern Louisiana,  most  any other plan
will likely fail. That's the feelings of House Speaker  Jim  Tucker,
who   says  proposals  for  an  I-20  corridor  district  are  being
outweighed  by the Governor's clout and the fact that 4 of 7 current
congressmen  support   a  plan  that  maintains  separate  districts
representing Shreveport and Monroe.
