Jindal’s Prison Proposal Criticized

Governor Bobby Jindal's proposal to sell three state prisons to help offset a huge budget deficit, fund health-care programs and save the state a lot of money is drawing more criticism.  The House Committee on Appropriations heard from opponents yesterday who warned that the move would cost hundreds of state workers their jobs.
