The 11-year-old Lafayette boy revealed his plan for old political signs a couple of months ago and now we've got a chance to help him put it into action.

In case you were wondering how long political candidates have to remove their signs, we've got the answer here, but Tre's idea is friendly for the environment and will be great for whatever plan he comes up with for the recycled goods.

Regardless of where you are in the area, there is a place nearby for you to drop off any signs that you are looking to discard.

Personally, I love to see kids get so active in their community at such a young age and this kid has an energy that I hope will continue through adulthood.
