Louisiana is one of 15 states sharing millions of dollars in bonuses for boosting Medicaid enrollment for uninsured children. Medicaid for Louisiana Director Don Gregory says the state will receive about 3.5 million dollars. Gregory says the money is an award from the federal government recognizing the state's efforts to make things more simple for the people it serves. Gregory says of the 15 states receiving the bonus money, Louisiana had the smallest increase of Medicaid enrollment.
