Lafayette Police Investigating Armed Invasion Of Sunbeam Lane Home

Police in Lafayette are looking for any clues that could lead them to the suspect responsible for the early Friday morning invasion of a home on Sunbeam Lane.

According to Lafayette Police spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton, the suspect forced his way into the home and, once inside, began pointing a weapon at the victims and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with a small amount of cash, and the victims were not injured.

The suspect was wearing black clothing and a camouflage mask, and was armed with a shotgun.
