Lafayette School Board Assessing Damages, Time Frame For Return
While schools in Lafayette Parish will definetly be closed on Monday, it is still uncertain what accommodations must be made to return to the infancy of the 2016-17 school year.
Lafayette Parish School Board member Erick Knezek took to Facebook to spread the message of where the Lafayette Parish School System shall go from here.
He said the Board and school district administrators are busy assessing damages to parish facilities and will soon contact local media to layout the plans to send students-- and the district's 4,500 employees--back to school.
Stay tuned as we bring you the latest in school closures in the coming 24 hours.
