Lafayette Suspect Charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder

Lafayette Police were called out to a shooting in the 100 block of Delahoussaye Drive after witnesses said a victim and 27-year-old Terrence Celestine were in an arguement.

Celestine, wanted on a charge of attempted second degree murder, turned himslef into the law enforcement Sunday.

The victim is still in guarded condition at a Lafayette hospital.

Witnesses told police Celestine fired on the victim twice while the two were arguing.
