LCG Announces Family Friendly Mardi Gras

Family Friendly Mardi Gras is a 300-ft section on the Lafayette parade route that gives families and community members an opportunity to enjoy Mardi Gras festivities in an alcohol and tobacco free environment.  There will be a rock wall, fun jumps, live music, games, prizes, face painting, hot dogs, sodas, resources, and many more activities.  This entire event and all of the activities are FREE to the community.  Last year was a huge success with over 1600 people stopping by the zone.  An even greater turn out is expected for this year’s event. It's March 8, 2011 from 9am-4pm.
