There are three candidates who will be vying for District 8 voters tomorrow during the primary election.

Liz Webb Hebert is facing off against Gerald Judice and Carol Ross for the job.

Hebert works for the Cajundome as the person who books events for the center.

Hebert says she is ready to take her public service to the next level by representing her district on the Lafayette  City Parish Council.

Hebert says she has enjoyed walking and campaigning in the district.

She spoke to Bernadette Lee and Brandon Comeaux of "Acadiana's Morning News" about the challenges facing her district and how she plans to represent constituents if she is elected.
