Motorists Advised To Be Mindful Of Workers Clearing Debris Under Lafayette Bridge

Be aware of crews clearing debris and blockage as predicted heavy rainfall from Barry approaches.

Barry has been moving slowly and even though he has already downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm, we are still expecting heavy rains between now and tomorrow afternoon. Councilwoman Liz Webb Hebert posted the progress on her official Facebook page.

Before, during and after the storm, motorists should keep their eyes open for all workers who may be cleaning up or repairing damages caused by the storm.
