Tropical Depression 14 Forms in the Caribbean Sea
Tropical Depression 14 has now officially formed in the Caribbean Sea and forecasters say it's likely to head into the Gulf of Mexico.
The KATC Weather Lab says Tropical Depression 14 is "expected to impact portions of the Gulf Coast sometime early next week."
Forecasters expect Tropical Depression 14 will strengthen, but at this point, it's unclear how much and what impacts it will have for the central or northwestern Gulf Coast.
It's a good idea to go ahead and start your storm prepping now just in case.
