Louisiana Eliminating One of the Seven US House Districts?

Louisiana's congressional delegation is already haggling over plans to eliminate one of seven exisiting U-S House districts. U-L Lafayette political science professor Pearson Cross says as it looks now, like the third district, represented by Jeff Landry of New Iberia, is likely to go. State lawmakers will decide the new districts in a special session that begins March 20th.
