As they begin work on the job of redistricting, state lawmakers are already busy pre-filing bills for the regular session that begins next month.  Thirty-eight bills have been filed in the House and 12 in the Senate.  They deal with such matters as death and disability benefits for National Guard members to the carrying of weapons by federal judges.
