LSU Gets Verbal Commitment From Top QB

The LSU Tigers might have found a solution to their quarterback problems. One of the top QB recruits in the country has given his verbal commitment to play at LSU. Zach Mettenberger intends on signing with the Tigers. Shea Dixon, managing editor for tigersportsdigest.com, says Mettenberger is a pocket passer with a strong arm. Mettenberger started his college career at Georgia, but was dismissed from the football program after an incident at a nightclub. He played this past season at Butler Community College in Kansas and Dixon says Mettenberger can play at LSU right away.
