LSU is once again poised to bring in a Top Five recruiting class.

There's ten days left before national signing day and the Tigers have nearly a full class, with 21 commitments. Running backs coach and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson says Coach Les Miles decision to stay at LSU has helped keep this class together. Wilson says offensive line was a need going into this recruiting season and they were able to get future help along the o-line by staying in the state of Louisiana. (La'el Collins from Redemptorist and Trai Turner from St. Aug are expected to highlight this class at offensive line.) LSU has 21 commitments and they only have room for a few more. The 2011 class already features seven players from the New Orleans area. Wilson says more schools from across the country are starting to recruit heavily in southeast Louisiana.
