Man Arrested in Another Neighborhood Shooting in Franklin
24-year-old Joseph Daniels of Franklin has been arrested after local police say one of the shots he fired in a neighborhood Monday night went into one of the homes.
Fortunately, no one was struck by any of the bullets before Franklin police officers responded to the 7:47 PM call in the area of Magnolia Street and Maple Street. One caller told officers about the bullet entering their home, according to a press release from Franklin PD.
That's when police started investigating and say the evidence pointed towards Daniels, who was arrested on Wednesday morning. Daniels was arrested on the charge of Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities and a warrant for probation violation. As of now, he is being held with no bond.
If you have any information about the shooting or was a witness to it, call the Franklin Police Department at (337) 828-1716. You can remain anonymous.
