Man Found Dead Inside Car In Vermilion Parish Field

VERMILION PARISH, La. (KPEL) -- Deputies are investigating the mysterious death of a driver found in his car in a field in a remote part of the parish.

The driver was found dead in his car in a field off Perkins Rd. at about  6:38 a.m. Saturday, according to Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon.

Evidence at the scene suggested foul play, Couvillon said.

The driver's identity is being withheld until his family can be notified, Couvillon said.
